Garden fleece also known as horticultural fleece is especially suited for protecting crops from windy and cold weather. Plants covered in garden fleece develop more rapidly because soil and air temperatures rise. In warm weather horticultural fleece also protects crops from flying pests.
Garden fleece allows water and air to penetrate, easing water requirements and increasing airflow around the plants. This encourages hardier growth and discourages disease build-up.
