New 100% biodegradable garden and horticultural fleece has a lifespan equivalent to a non-biodegradable garden fleece. Degradation of the
biodegradable horticultural fleece is massively accelerated only during the municipal composting process where prolonged contact with heat and other decaying organic matter triggers the product to degrade rapidly. Under normal composting conditions, this fabric degrades completely within four weeks.
DIN EN 13432: 2000 - 12 certificate for compostability.
Product is badged with the “Kompostierbar” logo, which is universally acknowledged throughout Europe as the benchmark for compostable materials.
